Lori J. Lien, 61, of Lincoln, NE, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at Bryan Health Care West in Lincoln, NE. Born February 9, 1960, to Robert Allen and Jeanne Gritz in Beatrice, NE. She graduated from Southeast High School. Lori married Gary Lien in Lincoln, NE, to this union two sons were born, they later separated. She was a leader and feisty, a mother who always put her sons first. Lori worked for Lincoln Public Schools for 20 years. She enjoyed NASCAR, naps, and the fourth of July.

Lori is survived by her sons, Alex Lien and Nick Lien both of Lincoln, NE; aunt and uncle, Janice and Tony “Jerry” Sanford; cousins, LeAnn Phillips and JoDee Slaven.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Teresa Gritz.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 5200 R Street.
